Stone Park - Sachse, Texas

The pond is very close to the playground, about 30 feet.
One picnic table on the other side of the pond

I saw ducks there today!
Covered pavilion, with tables and grills.

Love the rockwall. This is the view from the one and only bench. The rockwall covers up the view of most of the playground though.

1. How big is the park? And what are the amenities?
It has a large playground, pond, picnic tables with grills and one bench at the plaground.

2. Is it enclosed or covered?
The playground is not enclosed, but it is covered.

3. What ages?
I brought my girls to this park at around 2.5 yrs last summer and it was too challenging for them. Today at a little over 3 yrs old they had a great time. It has features for older kids too.

4. How safe is it?
It is plenty far from the street, but it is only about 30 feet from the bond with no barrier. For younger kids, there are very high platforms with no railings.

5. Pros: It is covered, has lots of different slides, and a very cool rock climbing wall. There were ducks here today, but I've never seen them at this park before. My girls had a lot of fun at this park.

6. Cons: It is too close to the pond and there is only one bench, which is pretty rickety.
