The playground is not enclosed or covered, but there is a covered pavilion and several trees.

1. How big is the park? And what are the amenities?
This neighborhood park is moderate size. There is a large open field with a small gravel playground, and other amenities including, a covered pavilion, picnic tables, grills, drinking fountain, basketball/multi-use court, and a large practice field.

2. Is it enclosed or covered?
The playground is not enclosed or covered, but there is a covered pavilion.

3. What ages?
Probably ages 2 and up.

4. How safe is it?
The playground itself is not large, just one big structure, plus swings and bouncy horses, so it is easy to keep watch on active children.  One of the slides is very tall and might be intimidating, but my 3 year old loved it.  There are houses and an alley that backs up to the park, but it is a good distance away from the playground.

5. Pros:
There is a lot of grass area to run or kick balls and the concrete paved basketball/multi-use court would be fun for sidewalk chalk or even riding bikes or scooters.

6. Cons:
No restrooms, must park on street.

Crowley Park - Richardson, Texas

Sign states that the park is good for 5-12 year olds. My three year olds had fun with most of the elements.

My girls particularly liked these funny steps.
There is a hole in the middle of this platform, which is pretty high off the ground. So if you  have young toddlers beware.

Climbing up the feature that leads to the hole in the top platform.
This sign says the smaller play equipment is good for 2-5 year olds.
I'm not sure if a two year old could do this rock wall or not, but my 3 year old's loved it.

Low flat steps for the younger crowd.

Although this slide was pretty steep for a younger toddler.

 Restrooms
Small pond with turtles and ducks in it. I saw some people fishing too.

1. How big is the park? And what are the amenities?
This is a good size park. There are two play structures, a swingset, covered pavilion, picnic tables with grills, plenty of benches, a small pond, baseball diamonds and restrooms. There was also a parking lot.

2. Is it enclosed or covered?
The park was not enlcosed or covered, but the pavilion was covered.
3. What ages?
The signs say 2-12 year olds.

4. How safe is it?
I rate this park high for safety. There is a pond but it is far away from the play structure, as is the parking lot.

5. Pros: The girls and I really liked this park. I liked the layout, the restrooms were close to both the parking lot and the play structures.

6. Cons: None I can think of.

1. How big is the park? And what are the amenities?
This is a medium size park in the middle of the Downtown Wylie area. It has a very city feel, with a busy street very close. There is a toddler playground, a regular playground and a jungle gym for older kids. There is a horsehoe pit (bring your own horseshoes,) a gazebo, a covered pavillion with lots of tables and a grill. There are lots of picnic tables and benches scattered around. Restrooms are also on site next to the parking lot.

2. Is it enclosed or covered?
The playground is not enclosed or covered, although there is a covered pavillion.

3. What ages?
This park is geared for kids of all ages.

4. How safe is it?
I was wary of going to this park when my kids were younger because there is a street about 20 feet away from the playground. It is a side street that isn't very busy, but it still gave me cause for concern. There is also a very busy street on the other side of the park but it is buffered by a hill, landscaping and a huge lawn from the playground area.

5. Pros: Lots of different things to slide on and climb, with areas to walk around and explore too. It's easy to get to when you are out running errands and just want the kids to play for a bit.

6. Cons: The street noise doesn't make for a nice "day at the park" feeling. If your children doesn't like loud noises you may want to stay away on the first Wednesday of the month at 1pm. That's when they test the sirens, and one is located right in the middle of the park!
